News Release: Free Lead Testing

New York State is launching a limited funded free lead testing program.  

This free testing is for residents serviced by public water or well water.  Residents can have their water tested for lead by signing up on NYS Department of Health’s web site at:  https://www.health.ny.gov/environmental/water/drinking/lead/free_lead_testing_pilot_program .  

 Lead is a toxic metal harmful to the developing brains and nervous systems of young children.
