Green Waste Pick-up Schedule 
Schedule:  Late April to mid-May. A daily schedule will be posted for each street.
Description:  This service is provided to accommodate residents with spring yard clean-up. Loose green waste piles (tree branches, lawn clippings, etc..) and bagged lawn waste will be picked-up.

BY APPOINTMENT NO FEE SERVICES;
Dial-A-Chipper Program
Schedule: Mid-May to October, Tuesday through Thursday
Description: For larger tree branch removal. DPW will provide chipper and labor for loose piles.
 Dial-A-Truck Program
Schedule: Mid-May to October, Monday through Thursday
Description: For larger green waste removal. DPW will drop-off a dump body truck between 3-3:30p for the
resident to load. The truck will be picked up by DPW between 7-8am the next morning.

Spring Cleanup

Fall Cleanup 
Schedule: End of October to Early December. A daily schedule will be posted for each street.
Description:  This service is provided to accommodate residents with fall leaf pick-up. Loose piled leaves and green waste in containers or brown yard bags will be picked-up curbside.

Christmas Tree Pick up –
Schedule: January/February Actual dates will be posted
Description: This service is provided to accommodate removal of Christmas trees. Trees will be pick-up curbside on posted dates

Madison Transit is public transportation that serves the City of Oneida and surrounding areas of Madison County.  Madison Transit System is operated by: Birnie Bus Service of Rome NY.  Birnie Bus Service will also be operating the call center for Dial-a-Ride and non emergency Medicaid transportation.  For information or to schedule a ride, please phone 315-824-1260.
